it has officially been one week since coming to training camp and what a week it has been!! It has been an amazing, hard, and beautiful week all at the same time! I can’t wait to share what God has done so far!

I have grown so close to the Lord this week despite physically hard conditions like sleeping in a tent rain or shine, using only bucket showers and constantly sweating, i should mention seeing the biggest daddy long legs and banana spiders I have ever seen in my life, and trying some new foods. but with all this being said, God has been so good!

I have never experienced  worship like I have this week. The Holy Spirit is moving so much! Sometimes I can’t help but dance and sing and praise, and other times I can’t help but get on my knees cry and be in awe of the Lord and His love for me and His children. the freedom i feel in worship is beautiful.

This organization Has strong beliefs about prayer and how prayer is so powerful, this makes it a constant during our days here. We also have really good sessions learning about practical things for the mission field, but also preparing us spiritually and our character building lessons for the mission field.

God has revealed so much to me this week. Some days are really hard and some are really good, but God is teaching me how abandonment in the physical brings fulfillment contentment and growth in the spiritual. We are so blessed to have a kind and loving God like our Lord!

i also am praising God for my amazing leadership! they have poured so much into me and my squad. i couldn’t ask for more amazing and godly people to lead me and my squad through this journey! I am also blessed by my team of 9 girls from my squad. God has blessed me with a community of firm believers.

thank you so much for supporting me and through the Lord making this opportunity available for me. I can’t wait to use what I am learning to spread the gospel to the nations!

with many blessings, Mandie <3
